The Verve Foundation and Antony George Recruitment have formed a strategic partnership to encourage and support new talent into the financial services industry.

The partnership will look to give people employment opportunities and ensure they have all the skills and knowledge to succeed.

As an example, The Verve’s Foundation’s We Are Change programme, which provides fully funded training and qualifications for new talent, will receive support from Antony George which will help them to “solidify” their career progression.

Verve Foundation head, Hayley Rabbets, said: “Our We Are Change programme operates through sponsorship from established firms and providers.

“Those sponsors can recruit from the talent pool but when there aren’t roles available through existing sponsors, we need to ensure there are still opportunities for our students; working with Antony George will allow us to achieve that.”

She added that the collaboration with Antony George will support the community from their first steps into the industry, right through to career progression.

The partnership seeks to address a “widely publicised” need for new talent in the industry with both organisations taking strides towards achieving this common goal.

One organisation will provide qualifications, the other will provide employment opportunities and collaborations on delivering soft skills and industry training.

Antony George co-founder, Lewis Byford, spoke on the pressing need for new talent, stating: “The financial services industry is in constant need of fresh perspectives and diverse talents.”

He added the collaboration aims to bridge the gap between skills, development and employment opportunities, ensuring that aspiring individuals entering the finance sector receive the necessary training and support for a successful career.

“The values of The Verve Foundation resonate with our commitment to adopting positive change in the industry, and we look forward to working together to empower and uplift the next generation of financial professionals,” he additionally stated.
