These latest receipts in November largely relate, according to HMRC, to October liabilities.
Business taxes were also included in the bulletin which found an overall increase of £7.3bn in the period of April to November 2023 when compared to the previous year.

HMRC reported that business taxes reached £53bn, an increase on the £45.7 that was recorded in the same period in 2022.
