Fund Review: UK Special Situations

Jupiter UK Special Situations

Ben Whitmore has managed this £1.2bn fund since joining Jupiter from Schroders in 2006. Mr Whitmore has a contrarian bias when seeking out opportunities. For the stocks that make it into the fund, he must be convinced of the financial security and strong franchise. In five years to date, the fund has posted 106.48 per cent, placing it in the second quartile when compared against its IMA UK All Companies sector peer group.
